Helene Macaulay is an actor, filmmaker, artist and award-winning documentary and fine art photographer residing in Western New York. She is Co-Executive Producer and Co-Director of the recently completed documentary Hauling Trash featuring the New York City Department of Sanitation, and of Frankie's Mambo: El Ritmo Diablo, and Chema's House, which debuted at Cinequest and aired on numerous PBS affiliates including WNET/13, New York City and WGBH, Boston. Her still photography has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally, including the John Kobal Photographic Portrait Awards, National Portrait Gallery, London. She founded her New York City based production company, Little Death Films, LLC in 2004.
