Helene Macaulay is an actor, writer, artist, filmmaker and award-winning documentary and fine art photographer living in the American Rust Belt. Her writing has appeared in Passage Journal, Grattan Street Press, The Commonline Journal, and other independent literary journals. She is Co-Executive Producer and Co-Director of the recently completed Hauling Trash, with the New York City Department of Sanitation, and of Frankie's Mambo and Chema's House, which debuted at Cinequest and aired on numerous PBS affiliates including WNET/13, New York City and WGBH, Boston. Her still photography has been exhibited throughout the United States and internationally, including the John Kobal Photographic Portrait Awards, National Portrait Gallery, London. Her Acting credits include numerous films on the festival circuit, as well as appearances on network and cable television and nationally syndicated radio. She founded her New York City based production company, Little Death Films, LLC in 2004.
